Genius Loci

This cannot be captured in photos. Only living here amalgamates the drama of the Tramuntana Mountain’s steep drop into the Mediterranean Sea, the coastline of Costa Deia and the sun from dawn to sunset.

Serra de Tramuntana is under UNESCO protection as a World Heritage.  The sheer-sided mountain range runs parallel to the northwestern coast of the island of Mallorca. Millennia of agriculture have marked the landscape by terraces of olive and citrus trees and water works as well as stone constructions and farms.

The villa lies at the steep cliff side overhanging the sea in a unique space ideal for relaxation. The secluded area offers mindful contemplation with the  amazing views of mountains, the coast line, the sea and sunset, while you hear the waves against the rocks, the crickets chirping and the wild easels braying.

It is a truly exclusive property, which offers a unique experience and unbeatable views over coast, sea and mountains. It is oriented towards the west with the best sunset views on the island.

The design

deBATaBAT is Mallorcian for “wide open” indicating the 270° wide open views as well as the open lay-out of this modern villa.

It was built by designer and engineer Jose Maria Riera (www.urbs.es) from the best design office on the island (Antonio Obrador  www.antonioobrador.com )

They designed this landmark villa modern in lines but traditional in materials. It has been built in the best materials, solid wood, stone and natural stuccos.

It has 350 sqm of living space plus 2000 sqm of land with great terraces and a long stylish infinity pool, all of which boast amazing sea views and mountain views from its privileged location at the cliff-side towards the Mediterranean Sea.

The infinity pool is a salt-water pool of 15 x 4 m

There is private parking for 2 cars with a remotely controlled sliding gate.

The villa is safely located at the end of a cul-de-sac.
